We are pleased to announce that C3FAC is featured in the April issue of 909 Magazine. You can read the article here.
This month, C3FAC will be in attendance at FDIC in Indianapolis, Indiana, thanks to Phenix Fire Helmets. Come visit our team members at the Phenix booth, #4965, April 23-25. We look forward to meeting everyone, and to meeting with representatives of Dräger as well. Dräger has climbed on board this year as a major corporate sponsor of our cause, and we look forward to a close relationship in our joint efforts to fight the war on firefighter cancer.
The Code 3.1 Fire Run (5k) is happening on April 25 in Brawley, California, benefiting C3FAC. This great event is organized by the Brawley Firefighters Association, and will be fun for all ages. Those who don't reside in the area can still participate virtually. You can register here.
Once again this year, Theresa and Dan Oldham, along with an amazing group of volunteers, are organizing the Mo Hawk Less Cancer Benefit, taking place in Gages Lake, Illinois on September 12, to raise funds for C3FAC. This great event continues to get bigger, and will again be held at the popular Jesse Oaks. All are welcome to attend. Mo Hawk Less Cancer is held in loving memory of Firefighter Kevin Oldham. Read more about Kevin.
On October 24, the Hampton Fire Department will conduct its Third Annual Hometown Heroes 5k benefit. For the second consecutive year, it will be a charity fundraiser for C3FAC. The Hampton Firefighters, along with firefighters from surrounding departments, will also be representing C3FAC at the Fire Rescue South Carolina Conference in June.
As a matter of information, C3FAC is a centralized, nonprofit 501(c)3 public charity located in California and does not recognize, nor does it endorse, any chapters or affiliates.
On behalf of myself, the C3FAC Board of Directors, and our entire team, we wish you peace and good health.
